Ever wondered why children in Africa are starving whilst people in the developed world are not only eating more but getting obese, at the same time packing on the pounds while eating a larger share of the worlds available food?.

I mean it makes no sense that the people living in Africa have to starve or suffer from malnutrition whilst the people in the developed world suffer from obesity.

Look at the following table showing the minimum amount of calories needed per day to survive:

Makes a lot of sense now, food is a basic need not a luxury item that can be afforded by the few who have the money and choice of the quantity they desire.

Basically it takes the same amount of food to feed a child or adult in any part of the world no less or more, how about for a change governments implement programs that aim to divide food or at least ensure that everyone gets a daily basic intake of food per day.

It would be simple, we would have a basic idea of how much food we have the ability to grow on Earth and ensure that everyone gets their basic daily intake as the above table shows. That way no child in Africa would ever go starving.
